The Tipu team includes our youngest tamariki as they start school.
When children turn 5 and begin at our school, they join our Pihinga learning space. Here they are welcomed to school and supported in developing learning focussed behaviours with our wonderful kaiako Annie O’Donogue, or Mrs O to the children.
When a group of children are confident and ready to join one of our other Tipu classes, we will speak with whaanau to let you know about moving to a new space. We currently have two other Tipu classes in Room 2 with Andrea Ng Waishing/Sally Davidson (co-teaching) and Room 3 with Carolyn Dixon.
If you would like to speak to anyone about your child’s learning or day at school, the first contact should be with the class teacher. Teachers are available for brief questions between 8.30am-.9.00am, or can be contacted by email to organise longer conversations. If you require further support, you can contact our pedagogical leader Mrs Annie O”Donoghue.
